Donna Schweers

Donna brings over 30 years of experience in managed health care consulting and management to health care organizations nationwide. Before establishing her own consulting practice, Donna who is now retired, was a senior member of the national health care consulting groups of Towers Perrin and Ernst & Whinney. She also has direct management experience with hospitals and health service plans (HMOs).
Donna earned a master’s degree concentrating in health economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. She currently serves as Chair of the Governance Committee on the Board of Directors for Center Theatre Group (CTG) and serves on the advisory boards of the Institute for Research in the Social Sciences (IRiSS) and the Humanities Center at Stanford University. Donna is married to Tom Geiser, a retired corporate attorney specializing in health care companies, and they have one daughter who lives in San Francisco. Donna previously served two years as the chair of Saint John’s Health Center Foundation and played an integral part in the alignment and agreement which made Providence Saint John’s Health Center the home for Pacific Neuroscience Institute.
