Dr. Amit Kochhar, Director of the Facial Nerve Disorders Program at Pacific Neurosciences Institute, is among the most experienced facial reanimation surgeons in the US with over 1,000 patients treated.
Our team of experts has a combined 25 years caring for patients with facial paralysis. For patients with facial weakness and synkinesis, Dr. Kochhar has developed a multidisciplinary approach that includes, neurosurgery, neuro-ophthalmology, physical/occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology.
Our radiation oncologists, Drs. Robert Wollman and Lisa Chaiken have extensive experience treating residual or recurrent acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, and other skull base tumors with radiosurgery and stereotactic radiotherapy, using an advanced EDGE machine.
For patients with or recurrent acoustic neuromas, as well as related tumors such as meningiomas, our neuro-oncology team led by Dr. Santosh Kesari is on the leading edge of targeted tumor therapies, clinical trials and tumor genomic profiling.
