Dana Rivera

Dana Rivera is a fully recovered stroke survivor who shares her story of overcoming a traumatic and life-changing event. She brings awareness to the signs and symptoms of stroke, helping to minimize modifiable risk factors, and supports the value of nutrition and prevention. Dana is a facilitator for Stroke Support Groups around the Westside. She helps guide stroke survivors through what can be a complex recovery process, using her first-hand experiences to help support and motivate stroke survivors, family members and caregivers. “Time, determination and family support were key components in my recovery. I have made it my mission to pay it forward so others can benefit from my own personal experience.”
