Gabriela Kohn, MPAP, PA-C, practices in the field of neuro-oncology at Pacific Neuroscience Institute®, located at Providence Saint John’s Health Center. She completed her physician assistant training at the Keck School of Medicine of USC in 2023. She is dedicated to providing patients and their loved ones with compassionate, individualized care.
She completed her undergraduate studies at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 2017 with a major in psychology and a minor in mind-brain studies. Prior to her physician assistant training, she became a certified EMT and served the greater D.C. area. She also worked as a medical scribe for UCLA’s radiation oncology department for two and a half years. When she was a physician assistant student, she completed an additional clinical rotation in medical oncology at UCLA with a focus on pulmonary, thoracic, hematologic, gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers. These experiences were critical in shaping her passion for the field of oncology, as well as her desire to create lasting partnerships with patients and their families.
Gabriela is involved in all aspects of patient care from initial diagnosis and throughout treatment, including consultations and follow up visits, lab test and imaging review and interpretation, managing treatment side effects, and patient and family support. She serves as sub-investigator to several clinical trials. Her interests include research, symptom management, and education. She is inspired by the resiliency her patients and their families demonstrate. With the collaborative efforts of the team at Pacific Neuroscience Institute, she hopes to contribute to breakthrough treatments for brain tumors.
