About Dr. Ilani

Dr. Ilani is a board certified endocrinologist with a focus on diagnosis and treatment of pituitary tumors and related hormonal abnormalities. After board certification in Internal Medicine, she completed her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in 2011 and was recognized by her mentors to be board-eligible while still in her fellowship; she achieved board certification in endocrinology one year prior to her graduation. Dr. Ilani also trained at UCLA, David Geffen School of Medicine in Clinical and Translational Research. Her research interests include pituitary disorders and male reproductive system, hypogonadism, male hormonal contraceptive and male infertility with several peer-reviewed publications.

Outside the Hospital

Dr. Ilani is a member of Professional Staff Association at Harbor-UCLA, Division of Endocrinology and continues her academic activity with instructing endocrine fellows in clinical management of patients with pituitary tumors and pituitary hormonal abnormalities and also thyroid diseases including thyroid nodules and thyroid cancers. Dr. Ilani, who is a member of Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist, joined Saint John’s Health Center medical staff in 2011 and her private practice provides endocrine care to the patients with endocrine and hormonal disorders.
