Director of Psychedelic Therapy Training and of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Karina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, public speaker and published academic author who has worked extensively with individuals, couples and families both in private practice and in the non-profit sector. Working with the clinical trials team at Pacific Neuroscience Institute, she is a patient guide and facilitator with the Treatment & Research In Psychedelics (TRIP) program at the Brain Health Center.
Karina has specialized training utilizing evidenced-based practices for depression, anxiety, trauma, codependency, family systems and parenting, all developed to ensure strength-based, research-backed interventions and treatment. Using her extensive therapeutic knowledge and specialized training, Karina has successfully treated hundreds of individuals and families who struggle with forming healthy relationships, communicating their needs and coping with difficult emotions and life transitions. Karina helps patients identify and achieve the changes they wish to experience in their life using a treatment modality that best suits their needs.
